Model Shop

Once a finalized design is approved, prototypes make their way through The Inventionland Factory Model Shop to come to life. We’re not the North Pole, but there sure is magic happening everyday as we build products of the future!

Rapid Prototype Shop

Inventionland Factory’s Rapid Prototype area is equipped with a convoy of highly technical (and sometimes temperamental) robots which help is create some of our most advanced product technology.

Laser Shop

Lasers have long been associated with James Bond, covert missions, and laboratories, and now the experts at The Inventionland Factory have taken their knowledge of laser technology and used it to create intricate products our of plastic, cardboard, wood, and other materials.

Mold Shop

The Inventionland Factory Mold Shop merges science and technology to formulate molds out of various plastics and foam. Our proven process, and continued learning about the latest advancements in chemical compositions gives us the best ability to produce world-class components.

Cut Hut

Cardboard is the starting block for all of our client’s prototypes. As one of the most versatile materials, The Cut Hut at The Inventionland Factory is able to shape and mold the beginning stages of our client’s product ideas so they communicate to the build team.

Paint Shop

From prototype painting to putting the intricate finishing touches on new products, the Inventionland Factory Paint Shop is where color and contrast work seamlessly to create product stories which resonate with clients and corporations.

Wood Shop

Model Shop

There is not a product prototype created at Inventionland that does not go through the Model Shop. The Model Shop serves as Inventionland’s main assembly station; so, once a new product idea has been thoroughly researched and the design has been approved, this is where a tangible prototype is built.

Rapid Prototype Shop

The Inventionland Rapid Prototype Shop easily can be likened to something out of a movie. To properly set the scene, picture an entire room full of highly-technical, and sometimes temperamental, robots that are capable of producing everything from candy to medical devices.

Laser Shop

When a new project comes down the line at Inventionland and it involves precisely cutting or intricately engraving plastic, cardboard, wood or other materials, it heads straight to the Laser Shop. There, thanks to high heat laser cutters, the dangerous words “X-ACTO blade” are never uttered.

Mold Shop

Walking into the Inventionland Mold Shop is like entering the private world of product emulation. There, professionals with a solid understanding of manufacturing, research and development, undertake the difficult task of creating product prototypes out of liquid plastics, rubbers and foam.

Cut Hut

Inside the homemade cardboard door that leads to the Inventionland Cut Shop, talented engineers work together to create cost-effective packaging solutions that appeal to consumers.

Paint Shop

From prototype painting to putting the intricate finishing touches on new products, the Inventionland Paint Shop is well-equipped for any project. As well it should be, because there is rarely a project created at Inventionland that doesn’t go through the Paint Shop.

Metal Shop

Before you consider stepping into the Inventionland Metal Shop, be warned that you should proceed with caution. The gleaming blades, welding equipment and state-of-the-art plasma cutter are enough to make sparks fly in instantly impressive and undoubtedly dangerous ways.

Wood Shop

In many professional wood shops, when the question of safety arises, it amounts not to “if,” but “when” an accident may occur. Inside the Inventionland Wood Shop, a combination of skill and state-of-the-art equipment ensure that safety is one of the main components in every new idea’s product story.

Electronics

The talented team of electronics professionals at Inventionland are capable of making circuit boards, programming with microprocessors and doing many other software-driven things that make the technologies of tomorrow run today.

Textile

Sewing may not be at the top of the priority list for every new product idea that rolls into Inventionland, but with all of the capabilities inside of the Crafty Cottage, Inventionland’s textile shop, it could be. Yes, you’ll find standard sewing machines.

Video Production

When it comes to marketing new inventions and product prototypes, the video production services offered at Inventionland prove you don’t need to travel to Hollywood to find big-screen capabilities. Inside the 60,000 square-foot building, there are lights, cameras and a whole lot of video story-telling action!
